Essence in Motion
What draws me to music, movement and filmmaking is the possibility of expressing something we feel but cannot always put into words.
I think of video as essence in motion. A photograph can capture something beautiful, but seeing myself in movement allows me to recognize more of who I am. It’s this feeling of recognition that I love to offer others: a chance to see their own beauty, presence and expression.

I’m drawn to the way someone moves, the pauses between their words, the feeling they bring to a space. My approach to filmmaking works with natural beauty, movement and nature, without generative AI or elaborate effects. It begins with listening and giving those moments room to unfold.

That same attention guides my work with sound and movement. Whether I’m holding a camera, singing or guiding a class, I want to create space for people to feel present, explore their expression and trust what comes naturally.

Reflections on a Creative Life

What does it mean to let ourselves be seen? Â Why does beauty matter?
How do we stay connected to our creativity in a world that constantly asks for our attention?

In an upcoming video series of 12 episodes, I explore these questions through personal reflections, music and movement, filmed in nature.
Â
These are questions I’m living with, too. It is an invitation to pause, listen and explore together.

Coming soon on YouTube.

Why I create
I believe our creativity deserves a place in everyday life. Singing, moving, making something with our hands, sharing what matters to ushese are ways of participating more fully in being alive.
Through my work, I hope to encourage that participation: the courage to begin, the pleasure of exploring, and the possibility of finding something meaningful to share along the way.
